"When I’m surfing, I want to do as little work as possible, and I try and apply that school of thought to the boards that I make. I began shaping my own surfboards when I was 14 years old. The process of shaping my first board, and the stoke that was generated from that board is something that I will never forget. Hand shaping a surfboard is a process that I enjoy just as much as going surfing. I love it.
California provides some of the most well rounded, and diverse waves in the world for surfboard experimentation, and I think that has helped me develop the boards that I like to ride, and shape over the past few years.
The boards that I shape contain subtle influences from the past, but still maintain design concepts of the future. I look forward to working with you on the next addition to your quiver!”
